The program creates a respectful, trust-based partnership between a faculty partner and a student partner who is not enrolled in the faculty member’s class. This ongoing dialogue helps partners work together to foster a more inclusive learning environment. The program also supports a stronger sense of belonging among students, encouraging greater engagement and helping them take ownership of their education.
